FAQs

  • How do I sign up for The Screenplay Navigator?

Filling out a short interest form is the first step. I will then contact you via email about setting up a short (15-20 minute) online call. This lets us get to know each other a bit and see if I we are the right fit for each other. We also discuss the schedule of the course, and I'll answer any questions you have. After our conversation, if you think this is something you'd like to pursue, I'll share with you instructions on how to complete the sign-up.

  • Do you work with everyone?

Yes, and no. Anyone can schedule an online call, but depending on my schedule and your specific needs, I may not be able to accommodate you. And candidly, not everyone is ready for a coaching experience, so everyone is not accepted. But if I think I can help you, and I think we'd work well together, I do what I can to fit you in the schedule.

  • What is the turnaround time from when I request a call to when we can have a conversation?

My outside goal is within 1-2 weeks, but ideally within a couple of days... that of course depends on scheduling and a few other factors. Once you apply, you will generally hear from me within the next couple of days.

  • What times do you schedule consultation calls?

It depends on our schedules. Usually on the weekends, but there are some weekends or two each month that don't work for me. I'm located in the Los Angeles area, so I work on the Pacific Time Zone. BUT... my schedule varies from week to week and day to day. If the available times don't work for your schedule or time zone, we can usually work something out.

  • Do you have a payment plan?

Yes. You can split your payment over two, three, or four months if you wish. We can chat more about this in our call if you have additional questions.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

For full, one-time purchases, we accept all major credit cards and PayPal as long as your country of origin supports those payments. Payment plans can only be processed through major credit cards at this time.

  • Do you offer refunds?

The short answer is: it depends. If your circumstances change in such a way that prevents you from completing the program, I will work with you. Life happens. As a general guideline, the following refund schedule applies: after two weeks, 75%; after four weeks, 50%; after six weeks, 25%; after eight weeks, no refunds will be issued.

  • What do I need for The Screenplay Navigator?

All Navigator students should be writing in screenwriting software that can export to a PDF, which will be submitted via email. You will also need access to a Zoom compatible system for our online conversations, which also means you need a camera and a mic. Other than that? A great attitude, and a desire to transform your writer-self into a master screenplay navigator.

  • If I have more questions, who do I contact?

You can contact the course instructor (their email is below their bio), or you can email: [email protected]
